The best part is that there is no entry fee. The place is a bit old and basic. They need to renovate it. The aquariums are a bit small. Few beautiful fishes though especially the big one.

Small but fishes are very interesting. I believe they are locally catched and therefore look healthy
Small aquarium with lovely collection of fishes and shells, not of international standard though but enough for us to be entertained before going to the mangrove trail. Quite a distance from Chao Lao beach (we beach walked). Some aquariums need some scrubbing.
Kung Krabaen Bay Aquarium is MUST-TO-VISIT by tourists and students. The place is very educational which features sea creatures that are only seen mostly in the books and internet. The entrance fee is FREE of CHARGE. Just accross the building is the beach where you can relax and enjoy street food. You MUST visit this place when you are in Chantaburi.
The best part is it’s free and good for small children since it has mostly small fishes. It got a glass tunnel with larger fishes but need a bit of cleaning. It’s a good quick stop for family.
