Decent camping ground. Reservations is required during covid-19 pandemi, so if you just come without reservations most probably they will say it's full and you can't camp.

Excellent spot. It isn't a hard core deep woods camp ground. It is a nice family friendly area with plenty of tent rentals. It's cheap and accommodating. You can camp right on the water, rent a mookata for dinner, and get a head start to the falls in the morning. Plenty of room and nature for all levels of outdoor adventure. Also a nice dock for enjoying the river.
This park is well run. There are camping gears for rent and park officials are friendly. There are busses from Kanchanaburi Bus terminal so it is quite easy for foreigners to come. Check it out if you like nature. It will surely add a good memory to your trip to Kanchanaburi.
we camped by the banks of the river... initially we thought that there'll be more mosquitos or snakes in that area but nahhh... we had a blissful sleep
