Elephant Green Hill Project is a new elephant sanctuary started end of 2018. They house a total of four elephants including a baby elephant. Visit to the sanctuary was a great experience. Was great to be able to spend a day close to the elephants: feeding them, taking a walk, help elephants with a bud bath, and bathing with elephants in the river. Baby elephant is particularly cute as he is very playful. Was very fun to be able to watch the baby elephant playing in bud and trying to steal more snacks/food. Definitely recommend a visit, would be very educational for children as well. Was guide Pat was great also, explaining many details and stories of the different sanctuary and current situation.

Great small and pretty new elephant sanctuary (established 2018, two female elephants and one three year old bull child). They cooperate with the Elephant Nature Park (that how we booked them) and follow their high standards. Very good guide (in our case Em, thank you very much!) and veterinarian from ENP, they allow a maximum of 12 people per day (though we were only 6), treat the elephants really well (no riding, no hooks, no chains) and let them roam free (only verbal control if needed). You learn a lot about the elephants, prepare their food yourself, establish close contact with them through feeding, walking, mud “spa” and bathing. Facilities were nice, vegetarian food really good and our guide perfect. I highly recommend them and would go there again anytime!

My family and I had a wonderful day at Elephant Green Hill Project! We booked a full day with them through Elephant Nature Park. It is a smaller project with two full grown female elephants and one 3-year-old elephant. The 3-year-old elephant was extremely playful and fun to be around, and the female elephants were beautiful and powerful. We had a great guide who was punctual, informative, and spoke perfect english. The best part was being able to walk with the elephants in the jungle and observe them as they were interact naturally with each other and with their environment. It was tremendously fun to play with the elephants in the water, though I wish more than one elephant had felt like playing that day. The elephants seem very happy and the handlers are gentle. The facilities (bathroom, lockers, hand washing station, showers) were clean and functional, drinking water was provided, and lunch was home-cooked and delicious. They also provided end-of-day snacks and drinks for us. Overall the day felt very personal, informative, and well-organized.
I can't say enough good things about this project! Two adult female elephants and one incredibly cute and mischevious baby boy. Our guide Mew was super fun, funny, and thoughtfully answered all our questions. The staff here all worked together cooking, taking photos, or doing set up. The mahouts clearly cared for the elephants and enjoyed having visitors - just beware during mud and water fights! Everything was according to schedule, all beasts and humans were well-fed, and we had a nice nap in the van going back into town. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who can hike up a steep hill!
