Terrible bed mattress on 5th floor. Terrible quality of \Western Food\. For the high prices charged by the new Bangkok Based owner, Ram Group, they should spend money to improve patient comfort, and food. Nice new ground floor lobby wall decorations, nice new signs, but same busy Doctors, same helpful nurses on mobile phones, same crummy food as previous owner. Hospital needs major improvement in patient care to justify the higher prices. Obviously a manager of Ram hospital has NEVER slept a single night on the 5th floor. They would order new mattress the next day.

Treatment by the staff was very good. Diagnosis and treatment by the doctors was also good. Be careful what you reveal to the doctors. If you are older and have a long life history, a summary of your medical history may be misinterpreted. My advice, keep your information concise and clear. With too much information, you might unnecessarily shoot yourself an own goal.
If you do not want to wait all day at the Buriram public hospital, or do not want to drive to Khon Kaen or Nakhon Ratchasima, this is your best bet. Looks like a remodel of the lobby and out patient waiting rooms. Pharmacist is polite and explains medication in very good English.
Doctors speak English and some nurses can help if you don't speak Thai. Dr. Boy was especially helpful last week in the OPD. Not sure I would want to have heart surgery at this private hospital, yet the waiting time in OPD is far shorter than at the larger public hospital in Buriram. Prices are affordable, certainly less than Bumrungrad.
