Fort Weerawatyothin Hospital is a 60 beds size army hospital by TOE 8-565, directly commanded by Surin Military District Command. In 1941, it was established as a medic unit of 8th Infantry Regiment with 10 beds. In 1981, it was adjusted to \Surin Military District Hospital\ with 30 beds. Consequently, extended to be 90 beds hospital with 60 beds by reduction on 25 January 1987. It was given the name of unit, \Fort Weerawatyothin Hospital\ on 10 November 1988 and also considered to be the establishment day.
