The Room’s name is for remembrance of Boonsanong Boonyothayan who passed away caused the Thammasat University Massacre. Mr Boonsanong has a great contribution fighting for the equality in the Thai society at that time. And that fighting against the regime led him to dead, which has showed how freedom of speech was blocked in Thailand at that time.
