A beautiful place, but so sad that it is virtually deserted. The upper part of this waterfall area is usually also a waterpark with slides that come down into natural pools, but it is closed and looks like a ghost town...

Please don't support this place if you think animal cruelty is wrong. It was heartbreaking to see the shape the elephants and tigers were in. And the falls weren't life changing (but an insane trek) that you pay on top of your initial entry. This place sucks and the energy is just sad :( check out the nearby waterfall or the sanctuary instead.

we were so disgusted by what we've seen-we left immidiately!!! All those poor animals being hit, nudged by metal rods, dragged back on stage...Seriously-think twice before paying money to support animal abuse!! We weren't even aware that this place was one of the stops of our tour!! People being brought there by buses, from everywhere, all enjoying the misery of those tricks performing, chained living beings...disgusting and so so sad...

Fun day of experiencing the wildlife of Thailand. There is a spot to take a photo with a tiger. There are demonstrations with monkeys. But the highlights are the elephants. There is a show that will teach a little about the elephants and then demonstrate how they can be trained to perform (they show there soccer skills vs an audience member). And then you can take about a ten minute ride atop an elephant. It was a little unsettling at first, feeling like I was going to fall off at every step, but I got used to it after only a couple of minutes and then enjoyed the rest of the ride tremendously

The animals here are treated terribly please spend your money elsewhere :( check out Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai if you want a reputable experience with animals that have been rescued from places like this
