Butterfly Buffalo

We love how both Thai and foreigners worship together here. The pastor is a full-time doctor, he and his wife are kind and committed, and have a heart for the community. The church owns its campus and has various ministries in place including prayer, worship, children/youth, bookstore and home group. Annually they will host a large event catering to the community. During Sunday worship service, English translation via headsets is available. What we like about this church, too, is lunch is served after every Sunday church service and everyone gets to hang out with each other!

We were visiting Chiang Mai for several weeks. Since we have a toddler, we were very excited to find a small park inside the gate. Our one year old enjoyed playing there(usually no other kids were there playing there), but one of staff members got mad against us for being there and locked the gate for the park section intentionally to keep the outsiders like us from playing there. Although we may not be a member of this particular church, we are no harm to anyone. We use the facility respectfully... I thought Christian people were nice people... I don’t think Jesus would be proud to see how they handled this situation...

Great church with great leaders. Emphasize on God's words, real-life application and discipleship. English translation service is provided. Awesome Sunday school class for both English-speaking and Thai-speaking kids. Sunday morning service: 9.30 am-12.30 pm.
