This spot used to cater mostly to farangs, but as Covid-19 has CHANGED EVERYTHING, it is now a hotspot for hip Western and Thai writers, poets, journalists and singer songwriters to hang and share notes and joy. Mai pen Rai maan, this is the cross cultural zone between East & West that EVERYONE should want to be hanging out in

Great food, people watching and Wi-Fi! It is very difficult to find a restaurant in Thailand that is accommodating to *food allergies*. The Writers Club did an amazing job at altering the ingredients to meet my severe food allergy needs. The hubby loved his “normal” meal as well. Calling the establishment a “wine bar” is a stretch.. they had limited wine options. Decent beer options. As a reminder - it is the law in Chiang Mai to sell alcohol only between 11am- 2pm and 5pm to midnight.

Nothing to do with Writing, and small, but good priced selection of wine. The bar has a catchy name, which worked for me. A good Thai food selection, and tasty. Beer and Oz wine good. Wine is very expensive in Thailand, but here very good value. A mid-afternoon Wednesday visit; pleasant, friendly staff. Good food, refreshing relaxed stopoff. No problems with service and bill. Returning Sunday during market. My choice.

WOW 120 meg WiFi! Amazing! Stopped by for a beer to check out the place, and I like it. Friendly staff, great location next to the Sunday Market & other Temples in the heart of the Old City. I'd come back to try the food. They've also increased their wine selection from what I see, not extensive but 7 and some house wines to select from. (Note to owner, took awhile to lease an IP address from the wifi, might need to reduce the lease time to 20-30 minutes to release them faster).

Selection of local and Western cuisine, beers, wines, cocktails. Relaxing place for a night out that does not involve rowdy crowd or loud music
