We (my wife and I) love the school. It’s a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. We went to 2 other schools and found them to be extremely frustrating, but we have had nothing but a positive experience at Baan Aksorn. The teachers are extremely competent, creative, very professional, and fun. They know both English and Thai grammar (which is really helpful when you are trying to ask how to say something very specific or trying to figure out the difference between 2 similar words or phrases) but we spoke 80-90% Thai in class after the initial beginning stages. While it is possible to learn from someone who doesn’t know anything but the target language, it speeds up the process when you can get quick and accurate explanations. They have also been very flexible with me. They have their own system that works fine, but when I want to adapt it or change it altogether, they have been very accommodating. They just use their expertise to assist me in learning the language. It has been great. Highly recommended.
