Stayed at this beautiful place with my partner. I have never been so in love with a place in my life. Initially we were booked for one night but decided to stay for another as we needed more time to fully appreciate the hotel and Koh Lanta itself. Caroline, Lily, Oui and all the staff had impeccable customer service skills and were always on hand to help and give advice. Rooms were done to a beautiful standard, incredible comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast had everything you could ask for and so fresh. Lunch and dinner also brilliant. If you are to book a room, I would say get the beach view one, although garden view is just as nice, the view of the beach and ocean is an extra touch. They are also a plastic free resort, recycled straws, energy efficient and have free refills for reusable water bottles. The area is so quiet during the day and you basically have the beach to yourself for most of the day, it gets slightly busier in the evenings with music in the bars down the beach but it just adds to the atmosphere. I cannot recommend this place enough and am booking to come back myself next year.

Gorgeous beachfront bungalow with authentic design! Wake up to a beautiful view of the beach from your bed! Perfect for those seeking a relaxing beach holiday, but also some music/drinks at night time as the neighbouring bars continue until midnight at the beach. (The bass sound can disturb those with light sleep) The food is absolutely delicious. Friendly management very accommodating with requests. Sea in front of the property is excellent, follow the tide times. Even in low tide, there is an opening with less rocks 10 metres south. (The long beach in Koh Lanta is no longer as good as they built this new cement block.) So if one of your priorities is the sea & beach, this is the place! The property is new. Authentic designed water buckets in front of the bungalows would be appreciated to clean sandy feet :)

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our 2.5 week honeymoon, and it was an absolute dream - the perfect beach hideaway! We rented the beach view cabin - it’s set back pretty far from the actual beach, so while there IS a beach view it’s not right outside your door. Everything was truly perfect - the new cabins, comfortable beds, modern desig, and porch with hammock. Make sure you eat your meals in their restaurant - some of the best food I’ve had anywhere! The cocktails were well-made (a relief after weeks of sugary-sweet tourist drinks everywhere else). Highly recommended and hope to return. A deeply relaxing slice of heaven.

We're used to traveling a lot and we have stayed in 9 different hotels (from very luxurious ones like Six Senses to smaller ones, like the Lazy Lodge) during our 4 weeks trip to Thailand. We had high expectations from this resort as the reviews were all excellent and the price was quite high (for Thailand). SO, YES, the service is nice (even though they really don't speak a good English) and YES, the location is amazing with a very nice beach. BUT, honestly, this is massively overpriced. First, the room, it's just "ok". Nothing crazy, it has a comfy bed but that's basically it. Really not worth 150 / night. Second, the breakfast. This was maybe the worse. Reminded me of a old Bed&Breakfast in the US at 30 / night... How can you not serve some fresh orange juice in Thailand? ...Particularly when the choice is so limited. It's nothing that hard, nor expensive, to offer fresh orange juice. Yet, they chose the "easy" path by just serving industrial (and really disgusting) orange juice. Also, I've eaten omelets every morning during our stay in Thailand, and this was the one I liked less. Overall, even though the service is nice and the location is great, we really can't understand all the many 5* reviews. Yes, we are demanding, but paying that price for this hotel is unfortunately not worth it. Maybe our review would have been better if we had paid 40 or 50 / night, which is, for Thailand, the fair price for an average room and a very poor breakfast.

Absolutely loved my stay here at Lazy Lodge. The resort is absolutely gorgeous and right on the beach. The re-useable stainless steel bottle they give you whilst staying there is a nice touch and you can re-fill from the reception area, great to see they are doing their part in reducing plastic waste. The food at the restaurant was top quality and the breakfast was healthy, fresh and beautiful. Whilst we were staying there they were holding a Thai reggae concert which they told us about beforehand and me and my friend went to, a lot of fun! The room and the facilities were done to a beautiful standard and the staff were amazing. Would not hesitate to recommend and will be returning. Thank you again for making our first time in Koh Lanta so good.

Definitely the new place to be in Koh Lanta. Awesome homebase to explore other islands. Best food alternatives in Thailand so far. If you want to try out something else beside regular Thai Food: this is your kitchen! Sure, it won’t be a „secret“ anymore soon.

Great food and excellent service. The tuna sashimi and goats cheese were especially good.
