Great experience living aboard a dive ship, the staff was great, attentive, warm and welcoming. The dive masters were great, patient and helped my girlfriend become a better diver. Diving was awesome, especially the flexibility to dive a sunset or night dive. Your choice, your vacation. The lapat boat was great, but I am a bit of a neat freak. Beware you have to walk barefoot the entire time (not only is it thai custom) but shoes aren’t usually allowed on boats anyway. I wish I had water shoes I could wear on the boat or at least flip flops. Our room had a shower and bathroom but it wasn’t the cleanest. However, what do you really expect for a live aboard dive boat? If you want real clean , then rent a private yacht.

Could not ask for better service!!! This agency was amazing!!! Perfect for a Budget traveler such as myself. The food was great and plentiful. The diving was really nice. The thai boat crew was very accommodating and helpful. The instructors and staff were friendly and very good. The 4 bed dorm rooms were perfect. I do not have any thing negative to say about this agency. The boat was named The Dolphin Queen. Spent 4 days diving the Similan Islands including 1 day spent on one of the islands. I Made 14 dives including 2 night dives during the month of November 2011 and saw lots of lion fish, cuddle fish, scorpion fish, different eels, clown trigger, parrot fish, and many other species of fish which I cannot name. Unfortunately I did not see any Mantas or Whale Sharks but that was expected given the time of year. OVERALL AWESOME AGENCY!!!! 5 Stars for the budget traveler. Remember to Tip the Crew and Staff they deserve it!

We booked a snorkeling day trip through Similan Dive Centre. Abraham answered all our questions quickly and gave honest and accurate advice. The trip itself was well organised and our children had a great day. When I accidentally left my snorkel on the boat Abraham was very helpful in trying to recover it. We had an awesome trip aboard the Similan Dive Explorer!!! The dudes in the dive center were very accommodating, and the dive crew and masters were incredibly fun and made a really great boat dynamic. Everything was on schedule, the food was great, and we stayed in one of the upper deck larger sweets and found it was totally worth it for a couple. Our dives were spectacular, smoothly operated, and we felt safe and well-informed from the crews briefings. Loads of biological diversity within the marine park, and we did see Mantas! :) We both did the Nitrox training on board, and my buddy did his AOW. Both classes were well run and worthwhile. Thanks for a great trip! Can't wait to be back. \u003c3

We booked a 3-day dive tour to Koh Bon, Tachai, and Richelieu Rock on Manta Queen 2 liveaboard. The owner was very nice and helpful in getting us a double cabin with a discount and was very patient in checking the gear for us. He had gear in very good conditions, little downside for not having female wetsuits. I wish it would have been more transparent who’s gonna be the dive guide and that these are not from the dive shop where you book. The dive center is just an agent, like almost every Dive Center in town. At the end you’ll go on a boat of Khao Lak Scuba Adventures and have dive guides from this company.
