Local staff with good English speaking skills. Visited Shinawatra in Chiang Mai last year and was impressed by the quality and elegance of the workmanship. But... they no longer have the older fabric styles other than a few completed shirts. Newer fabrics lack any elegance. Refused to settle for a very reduced standard.

I'll admit that I dont know much about Thai silk. After Googling this place came highly recommended along with Jim Thompson as having legit Thai Silk. They had quite a few premade gifts, but mainly focused on men's items. Their main focus was on raw silk that can be made into whatever you want. My only complaint is the sales team \hovering\ over me. That drives me nuts. Leave me alone and let me look around. I dont have a baseline on silk prices, but this place was within expectations.
