It was wonderful training with Sara and Manuel. They gave us good informations, help us understand diving and help us improving our skills. It was a great experience and stunning to finally go diving and sea underwater world. They also pointed out the important skills and things you have to concern while diving. I feel very safe while learning even though it’s the first time. Besides Sara empowered us while training making us relax and also confidence in diving. I would really recommend this training school. Genuine, professional and hospitable! We will surely come back and will absolutely recommend this place to our friends! The course I completed was an Open water certificate. Wonderful experiences. Sara and Manuel were amazing instructors. They guided us every step of the way both on land and in waters. We felt very safe and well taken care of at all times. I would really recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore the world of diving. They have many years of experience which can certainly add confidence to any beginners. I highly recommend this place to both Thais and non-Thais visiting Koa Tao.

Did my first dive ever with the Koh Tao Diving Academy and could not think of a better place to go with! Sascha is very calming and really makes sure that everybody feels comfortable, relaxed and safe, so that all my worries were gone after the first minutes. The fact that they only dive in groups of 2-4 people adds to the unique experience. Thank you very much for that awesome memory!

Me and my boyfriend where at Koh Tao in these crazy times, we decided long ago we will be doing our open water course with Koh Tao Diving Academy - and it was the best decision. The four days are packed with activities but all in need to prepare you well for the dives, which are amazing. Absolutely the best experience. My husband and I decided to celebrate our 5th anniversary by coming to Thailand and getting our Open Water Diving Certification. We were complete first timers and everyone made us feel totally welcome and part of the family. Our Instructor Sophie and Assistant Sara really took their time with us and made us feel 100% comfortable, which is hard to do when you are learning emergency skills underwater breathing a regulator for the first time. As a couple, we both got the personalized attention we needed and everything felt super professional while still being fun and relaxed. From the first practice excercises in the pool to jumping off the boat and eventually diving in open water in the beautiful bays of Koh Tao, it was a life changing experience. The diving academy is run by Manu - a Course Director scuba diver, basically the best of best. But he was the nicest, dedicated and most humble person, which really reflects in his staff and the atmosphere of his school. We were lucky to get our certification here and get to know everyone. After our last few dives, we knew we were well-prepared to dive and were free to enjoy how amazing scuba diving can be. If we go for our Advanced certification, I hope it's here. Thank you everyone! You made our trip unforgettable.

koh tao diving academy is a small startup dive shop located in the southern part of koh tao. as a small startup they are doing their best to make a name for themselves and are focused on providing a great dive experience. i personally know two of the instructors from my instructor training and can highly recommend both of them. the southern part of koh tao offers plenty of low cost accommodations if you are looking to dive on a budget or plan on an extended stay for a PADI IDC course.

Had a great time getting our Advanced Open Water certification with Koh Tao Diving Academy, couldn't have chosen a better place. When we asked for a few more leisure dives at the last minute once we completed our cert, our instructor Arturo went above and beyond to make it happen, even when nobody at KTDA was available at that time. Highly recommend them.
