Great place to start lurning Kitesurfing! I almost finished basic course at KBA. Instructors are good, beach is not crowded, but the wind is tricky. The wind could be not strong enough. Double check weather report and you need at least one week to finish basic course. It worth it!

I had a great time at the spot. The location is difficult for beginners, especially if you can't drive upwind, so I needed lessons (with Tomek) which were great and helpful. A friend of mine actually was able to drive upwind but did not say this confident enough, so they made him also take a 2 h lesson, where he was basically still driving alone without much teaching. My take: it's a tricky spot (on-shore wind and waves), so be sure what you can or can't do for your own safety. But if you can ride upwind be confident about it. I give 5 stars for my own experience, I don't know what my friend would give.

Had a blast! After 6 hours of beginner lessons as able to stand up from the water and surf (a bit) in the direction of the wind. Nick was an amazing instructor - experienced, patient and a great person in general. Would highly recommend!

Really nise place, the guys from the school was very friendly and professional the same time. Shallow water and flat when the tide is low... I recommend the place..

It was our first time kiteboarding, as we had a few days in samui we contacted Jane and had beginners lessons (9 hours as we were two with the same instructor). Jane helped us a lot and Tomek was our instructor for 4 days (two 3 hours lessons, and two 1,5 hours lessons). I wouldn’t say that Tomek was the best instructor ever (even if he is), but he was so caring and professional with us! By the end of the first lessons we already had a great understanding and we could fly the kite pretty well. By the end of the second lesson, we were already able to stand on the board. And the last 3 hours were awesome! We succeeded in riding the board, change directions, and stay a long time standing up, despite the lack of strong wind. We were gave a partial refund because we couldn’t finish the lessons, but Jane and Tomek call us back when the wind was stronger, so we could have a nice ride before leaving the island! It’s a really great team, and I would definitely recommend the school!
