30 Baht to the Old city / Old Sukhothai / Historical Park from the spot in the picture. There is a clear sign. Don’t get scammed by the local Songtaew drivers. They wanted to charge us 300 Baht.

Free WiFi here. 40 min ride from Old City via the wooden bus (it takes the long route and the last stop is the bus terminal). 30 Baht per person. When you arrive there are ticket attendants for each van / bus operator, they will come to ask you what location you are going and sell you a ticket so no need to go to a ticket booth. They do not where uniforms just normal clothes. Bus station is clean and there are TVs that show Thai news.

This bus station is slightly on the outskirts of sukothai town, near the highway. One can get buses to major cities like Bangkok and Chiang Mai from here. Better to book online in advance, but one can buy the tickets (government buses) right at the counter too. Lots of space is available for seating, TVs, toilets etc facilities are available. There are no eateries inside, but just outside are a few shops one can buy some snacks for the journey.

Well organised bus terminal. Close to town in the rice fields. Busses to Bangkok, mae sot, tak, Mukdahan, khonkaen, Phitsanulok, Chiangmai, uttradit, Sri Satchanalai. Restaurants and guest Houses on site. Bus to Si Satchanalai takes 1 Hr Bus timings: Suk to sisatch. Dep 9.00 am, 12.30, Sisatch back to Suk last bus 4.30 approx.

There is transport heading to Sukhothai Historical Park daily, but take note that the driver will drive very slow(riding on a bike will definitely faster than him), and waiting time may take up to one hour. The good thing is that you could enjoy the view when you sitting on the truck (if you are not in a hurry). There're bus routes to different part of Thailand. Bus to Chiang Mai is listed on the board, different bus company depart at different times. We took the 2am midnight bus, the bus arrived at 3am instead. Expect some delays especially night bus. Free WiFi in the waiting area, but no convenient shop nearby.
