Highly recommend, we had a blast. Sonja is very knowledgeable and a good instructor, plus we laughed the whole day. The meals we prepared were the best we tasted in our 10 day visit to Thailand. I'm age 39 male, was joined by my brother-in-law and his age 13 daughter. On our own nights latter we visited a local market and had a better understanding of the produce available to this region. Additionally we greater appreciated the specific flavors each dish provided at resturants and it opened our food adventures in unfamiliarity territory. This cooking class heightened our food experience in Thailand. With recipes she sent with us, we're ready to bring the wonderful flavors and aromas home the the US. Good facilities and she makes you feel welcome in her kitchen, we all got lots of hands on. She's a wealth of local knowledge.

HORROABLE this "cooking class" will definitely be remembered. in no case can I understand the good ratings. Sonja, the "star cook" is a very unkempt and outrageous person. the fact that she constantly scratches her sweaty head and legs with her unkempt fingernails without having to wash her hands is pretty extremly. It is not possible that she does not find it necessary to wash her hands at least before preparing the food. writing this in retrospect evokes a gag reflex. the star chef she supposedly learned from, would turn with horror. that's why I don't believe the story with the star chef. So now to the cooking course itself, which was not one. because only sonja cooked and I was allowed to stir a little in the wok. I can do that already, I don't have to pay 2500 baht for that. The prepared dishes were not "royal" as advertised by her - they were not even basic. Instant powder as a flavor enhancer. a few lime leaves - that's it. no more fresh herbs or fresh ingredients. the vegetables that we had to use for cooking had already been cut by her. they had been dried and it seems that they had been cut the day before. this is not what freshly cut vegetables look like. I don't want to continue writing, but just warn everyone to catch this woman. she is looking for MAXIMUM income and spends minimal effort. 2500 baht is a lot of money if you count a value of about 100 baht. everyone should be allowed to earn money, that's not a question. but you shouldn't be fooled like this. in the end what really bothered and irritated me was that she spat on a 100 baht note on which the new king was depicted because she hate him so much. this woman has no decency and behaves very badly. good advice to everyone: stay away p.s. i think she writes her good ratings herself and has the bad ones deleted.

Leider hat uns dieser Kochkurs überhaupt nichts gebracht, außer das wir viel Geld dafür bezahlt haben. Der Kurs wird angepriesen mit einer Köchin mit "Michelin Stern ", wir glauben das sollte man mal überprüfen, denn sie selber wird gar keinen haben. Die Gerichte waren alles andere als lecker. Die Tonart von ihr war eher für die Kneipe bestimmt als für einen Kochkurs . Die Sauberkeit war erschreckend. Wir sind zwar in Thailand aber eine "Köchin "sollte dies wohl als höchste Priorität betrachten. Bilder durften wir zwar machen, sollten sie aber nicht ins Netz stellen, da es für sie Geschäftsschädigend sein könnte. Deshalb fragen wir uns, was sind das für Bilder, die dort eingestellt sind. Für uns war das ein völlig verschenkter Urlaubstag.
Super schönes Erlebnis, sehr zu empfehlen, auch ohne Englisch Kenntnisse...
Ottima cucina tradizionale casalinga sia nella qualità che nella quantità! Ottimi prezzi! Strepitosi koktail a prezzi onestissimi e bassi. Benissimo continuate così!
