Beautiful theatre. I really enjoyed this cultural experience watching Khon, the Thai Masked Dance. It was a fantastic show. With English subtitles so you can follow the story. I would recommend anyone that purchases a ticket to the Grand Palace/ Emerald Buddha, to use the other half of the ticket and watch this free performance. The seats are red leather and very comfortable. You can sit anywhere in the auditorium and get a good view. Tea, coffee and water bottles are available for 20- 40bhat.

Great experience! Thai masked dance. Good music, spacious theatre. Food/coffee facility in the building. Friendly staff. You get to see a free show with the grand palace ticket. The last show with this ticket is at 5:30 PM. 15-20 minutes walking from the grand palace.

came here as its included in the admission ticket to the grand palace. A beautiful and interesting historical art show. Costume n choreography was great. Downside was that the story was only a part and it doesnt seem to have ended as the curtain closed

Wonderful traditional performance that was short and sweet (25min). Our tickets came complimentary with the ones we bought into the grand palace (500B). They have many shuttle busses from the place to the theatre. They have EnglishChinese subtitles above the stage to brief the story line during the performance - very thoughtful. After the show you can line up to take photos with the performers too :)
