I went to the two shops near my house to get a 9 Speed chain. Neither had it. This shop is 17 km from my house but I made the trip, and was pleased to find a nice selection of 9 speed chains including Whipperman from Germany. As the chain was being replaced looseness in the bottom bracket was noticed so it was changed. Test ride was taken and the rear cassette was shot also. I mention this as the shop had all the parts, and as a general rule Shimano XT is as low as I go. I appreciate the fact that the owner sorted out the various issues quickly, and changed out parts quickly. Riding home, the bike felt great. Will return.
