Despite much reduced passenger volume the staff still manages to make the airport experience unpleasant. The poor food offerings accomplish the rest. I recommend this airport to anyone who misses flying. You'll be quickly cured. One extra star for the airline ground crews who are generally quite polite and professional.

Visited in Feb 2020. At that time Corona wave was not that severe, it was just starting. Not everyone was wearing masks. Airport was full with people. We bought mob sim for internet from the airport. It was very cheap. Immigration was quick.
This airport is cool and familiar to many of people, because Phuket has a lot of tourists every year (excluding 2020). This is average size airport with some cafes and shops, duty free too, you can walk, relax, buy some food, sit in the internet ( through free airport WiFi). Clean and cozy there. Great airport. The airport is functional and has excellent connections. The airport is new. The airport is located in the north of Phuket. The airport staff is very friendly. Airport security is at a high level. You can also buy things at the airport if you forgot to buy in the city....
Very neat and clean. An attraction for international travellers. The staffs are doing their job professionally. Passing, entrance are easy. Feel safe, facility for car rental is also good. Recommended for travelling.
