Just a station with views of forested hills

FOREIGNERS CANNOT CROSS as of November 2017. They plan on it being open to foreigners by the end of 2018. They have no way of stamping your passport. Do not try. You will be very disappointed. We pedaled there on our bicycles and were turned around. However, the Thai border guards were VERY nice.

“Baksida” still cannot pass....02.25.2018. Still closed at newyear 2019. They told me Thailand had opened the border, but Laos did not....
