A good pier that is in walking distance to many major attractions. It has shops close to the entrance which are convenient whilst waiting for a boat and interesting to browse. There are good tours that operate from here which give a different perspective of the area, from the opulence of the Grand Palace to waterside shacks.

Good pier with many shops around. Beautiful panorama view at the pier where being around with many important places that is in the walking distance ex. Grand palace, Sanamluang, Silpakorn university and else. However it's quite packed with tourisms and thais all the time.

Good pier. There are a lot of shops along the entrance. Pay the fare and get on board. Very cheap. Safety suits are in the overhead compartment. You can sit, stand, or walk around the ferry. Take as many pictures as you want. A few minutes later, you will be on the other side of the river bank.

ท่าราชวรดิฐ ตั้งอยู่ริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา ถนนมหาราช อยู่ติดกับพระบรมมหาราชวัง ท่าราชวรดิฐ เดิมนั้นสร้างเป็นตำหนักน้ำในสมัย ร.3 ต่อมาสมัย ร.4 ได้รื้อออกสร้างเป็นตำหนักบนพื้น และเรียกพื้นที่ละแวกนี้ว่า ท่าราชวรดิฐ แปลว่า ท่าอันประเสริฐของพระราชา ปัจจุบันเป็นท่าเรือรับส่งข้าราชการทหารเรือและประชาชนทั่วไปข้ามฟากไปยังฝั่งธนบุรี อีกทั้งยังเป็นที่เสด็จประทับในกระบวนพยุหยาตราทางชลมารคด้วย
