Kalwit Studio & Gallery owns by Wal Chirachaisakul and his family located on Soi Ruam Ruedi 2. The studio is known for Mezzotint printing process (a method of engraving a metal plate) which really intrigued both local and international artists (and art lovers) from all around. Kalwit Studio is a commercial gallery. They sell works and deals with contemporary Thai artists. If you want to knows more on Thai contem art and the beauty techniques of Mezzotint printing process, the place is for you. Wal is great individual full of passion and I'm sure he will look after you and tour you around his studio/gallery. The studio closes every Sunday and Monday. The nearest BTS station is Ploenchit and its around a kilometer by walking.
