Buffet55 is a fantastic spot if you make it to Pai. A local farm extends their kitchen to invite travelers and locals alike to share their dining table. As you wander the land; check out the swimming river, the lookpoint, the farm itself. See a gaggle of ducks. Say hello to the sweetest farm dog and cat ever. When food is ready, sit down to the most authentic Thai meal I’ve had. Picked straight from the land and washed right in the river; the ingredients are extremely fresh and prepared really well. We ordered an Egg Bomb, a delicious take on the Thai Omelet with spicy tomato sauce. But the name sake of the restaurant is a 55 baht fixed buffet. Let me tell you. Buffet means buffet. We get 3 massive helpings of Morning glory, tomatoes, cabbage, and basil topped with peanut shavings. In addition, a sharing platter of Pad Thai, Green Curry, Tom Yom, and rice. It ranks among my most delicious meals in Thailand and definitely the most filling. I had extras of the veg and the rice, and cleaned plates in vacuum style. The place is fantastic, very vegan and vegetarian friendly, and just an amazing stop if you are headed to the Northern Waterfalls/Viewpoints/Hot Springs/Parks.

I really love this place, i stay here at campsite for 4 nights , it's incredible raw experience , people there are generous. They not only provide food ( buffet with price 55 thb per person but a la carte for only 25 thb ) but they also provide free campground , free nature bath , free parties , free drinks and etc......it's really free , you can find in this place. ***This place is really for young at heart.*** Moreover ; they provide hiking , trekking and camping service 1 day trip or 2 days 1 night up to the hill and explore secret cave with reasonable price. I really enjoy time with them. The staffs there are local and joyful and they make you feel safe at all time. If you want something cool and relax , try to stay here for at least 1 night and take a nature shower and also party at night ( what's more i can explain???)

Amazing find. You must stop and have one meal here, especially if you are HUNGRY! The buffet is filling! And the food is pretty much direct farm-to-mouth! I mean literally they go grab veggies from the garden after you order. So try it out. The ambiance is roadside country rustica with a twist of organic farm boutique!

The best way to end the trip to the Lod cave! The food was delicious and cheap. Than we spent time by the fire with friend and the owners! The Lady is very nice and welcoming! Truly a magical moment with the local culture! AMAZING! Stop there if you want to meet the real Thailand and its culture!
