Know what they are doing! Paul and his team came up to HUA HIN for a 2,5 Day installation of a fairly large system comprised of 3 pcs 5 KWH Victron inverter Chargers and 3 pcs 5 KWH SOLIS grid tied inverters configured to micro grid for full off grid enjoyment. In addition to this a existing 25 KHW lithium Battery storage was upgraded with a new smart BMS system and all installed in perfect harmony with the existing 30 KWH SOLAX hybrid system with 24 KWH triple batteries. Not only did they do a great job but also fixed some of the previous installations problems as it was not connected correctly. It has been a pleasure dealing with Paul from Octopus Electrical Service and we would not hesitate buying from them again which is not something we say lightly. Best Happy customer from Hua Hin

I went into Octopus for a spare part and left (thanks to Paul) deciding to invest in a full system upgrade to Lithium and Victron. Two days after it was finished my boat was struck by lightning in Chalong Bay and I was lucky to have Mick at Octopus to help me with an entire electronic assessment and refit. He has been outstanding with his follow up and help. Quotes, chasing down suppliers and liaising with the Marine Surveyor handling the Insurance claim. I’ve gotten to know all the team pretty well. Needless to say they are all nice people (with their great Thai attitude) but I also appreciated their competency and knowledge. They know their stuff and have been well trained. I was also surprised at their creativity in solving problems and delivering solutions that improved the boat (such as Perspex backing plates for new holes etc). Of course, not everything is perfect all of the time, like any big project it helps if you actively project manage, but they were very receptive to inputs and 100% trustworthy working on their own (often). Lastly, Paul is there as backup to advise and assist with handover. As seasoned sailors, both Paul and Mick understand the issues.

Order to install a horn with switch, and install a switch for the anchor. Beside the anchor switch they made a big scratch in my wooden wall. The switch for the horn at the Helm is not straight and not fastened, the horn is fixed with screws on the roof without any silicon... Both switches are the cheapest you can get, as well without any sign for what it is... Our speedboat is brand new... I don't know what to do...
