They sold me a lemon!! The lady working the shop told me that I had to play the guitar very very softly, unless I wanted to buy it. (I have been playing guitar for over 20 years and know how to treat a guitar. I wasn't banging on it, but apparently using my fingernails to pluck the strings was too much). Okay, so I went back to playing softly, and after a few moments she started huffing and puffing again...mind you, I had been playing the guitar for less than 60 seconds. Even though I couldn't properly test it out, I foolishly bought it, brought it back to my hotel room, and what did I find? The guitar has massive fret buzz, unless it is played very, very softly. (coincidence?) Any kind of normal playing results in a hideous buzzing sound. Upon close inspection, one side of the neck has had the finish chipped away, and the nut has been raised slightly, with wood glue all over the nut. The other side looks as it should. I have posted a picture showing the damage to the guitar. It has either been damaged and haphazardly repaired, or they sold me a factory second as new. I paid 5,000 baht for a brand new, piece of junk. It may be tough to find instruments on Ko Samui, but if you're thinking about going to NK Music house, just save your money.

Soooo helpful!! It was short and sweet! Definitely recommended. If you need anything Ukulele related (that was my reason to stop by) this is a must visit store!
We liked this shop :) very nice equipment. I bought a guitar that was value for money. The seller was kind to us
Owner was rude. Wouldn’t let me try a second guitar; “come tomorrow when you decide to buy”. I was kicked out of the shop. Shame, must be a different person from the other reviews.
Big shop..high quality..very kind owner
