So just some updating on some things. It’s really easy to find. And pretty simple process to get tourist visa. Once you apply you have a three month leeway until you reach the country. Which is great, it only takes two days now to get passport on the slow service which cost 1600 baht. I didn’t ask how much for first day but I assume around probably 1900 baht. Before it used to take three days but now just two. Here is a picture of the times and lunch time can vary so give 30 minutes before or after so you have spare time and not wasting any.

Meditation/rilegious visa. To apply for a meditation visa at the Embassy og Myanmar in Bangkok, you should bring an invitation from the monastery you are going to visit. Also, you should bring two photos (the size of a pasport photo), your pasport plus a copy of your pasport and 2000 thai bat - the currency of Thailand. Before, you could collect the visa the same day as you applied, but from 2019 the procedure has changed. From 9 - 12 you apply (dont be late - you should fill a form) the next day, you can collect your VISA only between 15.30 and 16.30. I am not sure, but i believe, that the Embassy is open only on weekdays.

ミャンマーのビザを特急料金（2290バーツ：約7千円）で即日発給してくれる。日数がかかって良ければもっと安い。質素な建物だが、中で証明写真をとって印刷をして、はさみで貼り付けサイズに切ってくれる有料サービスもある。申請に必要なものは、その場で書く用紙、顔写真が二枚（4.5センチ3.5センチ)、日本のパスポート、日本のパスポートコピー１枚、上記のビザ代。日本からオンライン申請もできるが、日数がかかる。本当にミャンマー行きが直前に決まった場合は、タイに寄ってここで申請すれば間に合う。
