I went in Feb 2021 when COVID has devastated most of Chiang Mai’s businesses, and I have seen streets without people during the day and at night along the river, Nimman, and Old City. Considering the pandemic, the weekend morning farmer’s market was still operating at 70% stall capacity, hence still a good place to visit. The vegetables are super fresh. Lots of food stalls. Lots of coffee trucks. And many handicraft stalls, I am particularly drawn to the local dyed linen clothes, look very nice.

Great market. Dresses, art, cafes and much more. Good place to buy fruits and vegetables fresh from the farmer. Also organic ... At reasonable prices. Great and friendly seller

Fantastic. You want to upgrade your visit from the Sunday night market in the old town, then go to the artisanal JingJai market. It is FAR MORE than a farmers market. You want UNIQUE artisanal -often purely handmade- garments or jewelry or present-objects, GO THERE. You won't regret it !!!

There are 2 sides of market, one side is in an open area with small stalls(a table with small items).Another side is in an area with boutique shops. Also there is an area selling local procure fresh products(vegetables and fruits). If you would like to find some local artists hand-made stuff which is a bit different from the usual walking street market. This is a place you could take a look.It opens on weekend only(Saturday and Sunday).Comes early because it closes at 1pm. Not very big, also there are some restaurants nearby.

Good craft products, good to go when you run out of things to do. Free tuk Tuk shuttle to the car park.
