I had the same experience as another reviewer, they didn’t finish the job, demanded payment, once paid never returned to complete. This company does not build the kitchen from scratch, it is sent out to a manufacturer and they only assemble the pieces, find a company that manufactures, much more cost effective. In addition they took forever to complete an unfinished kitchen, far too many mistakes, cabinets were constantly installed incorrectly then have to be removed and either reworked or reinstalled and just to point out, I closed my eyes to many mistakes or they would never finish! Large fillers, not acceptable for a “custom” kitchen, counter tops installed incorrectly, not using tight joints on counter top seams because the owner said they are too expensive ( what?), you only need three! Upper cabinets installed and are sagging, you can visually notice, the owner even agreed but nothing done to correct. The preparation prior to commencing each day was horrible, dust everywhere! Any good kitchen installer should know better and hang tarps or cover furniture with plastic. Can go on and on. I know a good kitchen company when I see one, being a contractor for 30 years back home, this is definitely not a good company. In my opinion management needs to become more understanding of their customers situation when going through a renovation and do as much possible to make the experience a positive one. Too many silly mistakes could have been avoided and they could have received a positive review. I honestly hope this helps Kitchen Studio reinvent their procedures, and helps new customers with items to be cautious about. DON’T RELEASE FINAL PAYMENT UNTIL YOU ARE SATISFIED THE WORK IS COMPLETE.
