Small pier with a fast boats. Nothing special here, a lot of people and only few places to sit. You can buy some fresh juice or sandwiches which is nice.

Not clean place, you have sometimes to wait for dozen of minutes if not hours to get your boat. A nice Thailand Army boat is to see meanwhile you wait.
Passion fruit juice is must try. Located on the pier. Stop for a quick bite.
Nothing special, take a taxi ... example to the other side of island 300 BTH per. person.
This isn't a review for the pier, but for the boat ride. The boat seemed clean and was on time. Unfortunately I woke up from a one hour nap to see a bunch of bed bugs scurrying around my seat. It ended up being far worse than I expected. As the day progressed, the bites started to show themselves. In that hour, I got over 100 bites. 3-5 bites come from one bug at a time and they don't bite more than once every few hours. That means over 30 bed bugs just around my seat - absolutely infested! And I am itching like crazy now. Proof in the pictures. Wish I would have paid the little extra for Lomprayah. I talked with Songserm and they were very apologetic and ensured that the boat does get cleaned daily. It is understandable that this would be a very difficult problem for any ferry company, especially since they try to keep prices low. But the sheer amount of bed bugs required to bite me so much is unforgivable in my opinion. Even though they offered professional and apologetic words, I still am suffering with over 100 bites that I could not have gotten from anywhere except this ferry and I will not use Songserm again or recommend them. It is foolish to have cloth seats in a place where bed bugs would be a problem. Pleather seats would not completely prevent this problem, but they would help.
