Review for Lertlah School, Kanchanaphisek Branch Positives: 1. Good kindergarten program with supportive teachers that communicate with parents regarding child's progress. 2. CCTV available for monitoring kids activities in classroom(limited hours, no sound, tiny screens) 3. Excellent sales pitch. You will be promised support for your child and shown a sample classroom demo. This demo is supposed to show the creative nature of learning, highlighting its competitive edge with Canadian teachers offering classes in English. Negatives: 1. School has 2000 students so a) You count on your child getting sick often (not the school's fault, you can just expect it from a school with this population size. Conversations in CCTV rooms among parents generally revolve around the health of children) b) You can expect to wait 45 mins to 1 hour in traffic in front of the school to pick up and drop off your child 2. For Grade 1 up, student to teacher ratio is 25 students to 1 teacher. Even with the teachers best efforts, your child will not get the attention required. This can, and has personally lead to several critical issues. 3. Educational style focuses on rote learning techniques. You will see your child progress academically, you will hear them speak with a good accent, but don't expect them to become the best versions of themselves. 4. Feedback is encouraged by the school, but expect them to generally just acknowledge the issue. Progress is slow, to the point of being non-existent. You can expect minimum changes to the rudimentary teaching and evaluation/assessment techniques currently implemented. Organization of the school very much follows a Thai system. International teachers are expected to follow this structure. 5. Your child will be subject to weekly tests on a Friday since K3 onwards. 6. 1 P.E class a week, with half the class devoted to listening to the rules.

ลูกเรียนตั้งแต่อนุบาล 1 ตอนนี้(2017) ป 1 สอบภาษาอังกฤษได้เกือบเต็ม แต่ที่บ้านให้ลองอ่านหนังสือเรียนให้ฟัง อ่านไม่ออกสักตัว ไม่เคยพบไม่เคยเห็น ครูและ ผอ ไม่เคยใส่ใจปัญหาของนักเรียนอย่างแท้จริง ผอ ทำหูทวนลม ครูพยายามโยนภาระให้พ่อแม่ วิญญานครูหายไปไหน แจกสารสัมพันธ์ให้ผู้ปกครองปีละเป็นลีมได้ บอกว่า รร ดีอย่างนั้นอย่างนี้ เพื่ออะไร ไม่ควบคุมการใช้กระดาษ บางอย่างไม่ใช่สาระที่ต้องให้พ่อแม่ทราบ เจอเข้ากับลูกตัวเอง ขำไม่ออก เด็กที่เก่งส่วนมากมาจากพ่อแม่พาไปเรียนพิเศษข้างนอกแทบทั้งนั้น วิชาว่ายน้ำก็เช่นกัน เรียน 2 ปี ยังว่ายไม่ได้ ต้องพาไปเรียนข้างนอก ไม่เกิน 10 ครั้ง ว่ายเป็นเลย น่าจะมีกฏกระทรวงอะไรมาจัดการสิ่งเหล่านี้สักหน่อย น่าจะดีกว่านี้
