I did the ' Advanced Freediver Course' back in 2008 with you guys! And I have only great memories about it. Monica and Eusebio were my trainers. I loved it a lot. They are professionals, know what they are talking about, fun and friendly! Go straight there if you want to immerse in the freediving world! Thanks guys!! hope everything is well overthere! Peace! Yeah and by the way, during this course I was able to hold my breath for 4.59 min in static and went down to 31 meters thanks to the training!

I spent the week at the Apnea Total Club to get my free drive advanced courses. My fiends i can tell you these guys are professionals, they love what they do & they give you the tools to reach some stuff you never thought you could do !! will come back to Koh Tao with my children, they will love it!! Learning to free dive with Apnea was beyond what I could have hoped for. The instruction was in depth, easy to understand and above all fun. All of the students on the beginners course were able to dramatically increase their breath hold times and achieve impressive dives with only a very short amount of tuition. The breathing exercises I learnt here I have taken into other areas of my life a year on from learning them and they now serve me any time I need to call upon them. Any time I need to calm my mind in stressful situations I am back in the classroom doing the breathe up with the beautiful beaches of Koh Tao outside waiting for me to go and dive into. Thank you to all who made my introduction to free diving such a profoundly inspiring experience that I wish to continue with. I will dive with you again soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed doing my level 2 freediving course with Apnea Total, they are specific to freediving, giving you the right theory and physical training you need to continue your freediving journey. I highly recommend instructor Nicky! She was so great with giving me positive encouragement yet still pushing me to push myself more! Thanks to her, and all at Apnea Total, all i want to do now is move to koh tao to continue my freediving journey with them.

We went for a free dive instruction for the first time. Price 3500TBH (104,00 ) for half a day. During the theory they insisted on drinking water, yet they did not provide any. The instructor also suggested to wear a long wetsuit because we were going to be in the water for at least 2 hours...yet they did not have long wetsuits for everyone in the group. I ended up having to combine leftovers which is not exactly nice considering the price I paid. The theory was interesting and as a scuba diver I learned some new skills. I did not really get the reason why they repeatedly positioned themselves as 'better' than scuba divers though... It felt arrogant ... You can love your own sport without the need to talk bad of others, right. Once in the water we had a good and calm instructor that cared about our safety and our limits. It was comforting to have him teach us the real thing. Overall, an interesting day. Price / quality is not that good when for the same price you go scuba diving, get free water and thee or coffee and a lunch... All the equipment you need for scuba, which is a lot more.

Me and my family (2 adults and 3 kids) stayed in Koh Tao for xmas 2019, we had from none to a minor experience with freediving, but we all wanted to know more about this and to challenge ourselves. Some of us are a bit frightened of open seas, some are worried about breathhold and some dislike jellyfish. We overcame all our fobias and discomforts at Apnea Total, and in addition to that we learned ALOT from the professionals at Apnea! Breathing techniques and ways to experience our own sensations, both in diving, but also in everyday life, was unveiled to us. Two of us made our way trough both freediving and advanced freediver course, both with sensational feelgood feelings from both static apnea pool-training and diving in ocean. With personal bests that far out beat all expectations. The staff and instructors at Apnea Total is higly skilled, they are enthusiastic, true to the Apnea philosophy, communicates well even though our (my) english ain't that great and there were several different nationalities present, patience, friendly trusting personality, they are creative and have very good teaching abilities. The days we spent at Apnea Total; with instructor (Dayna), classmates (Jenny from Munich and Runa from Trondheim), the Apnea staff (Monica, Matt, Aven, the dog (can't remember it's name...) and several others, was just so fantastic. We'd love to come back someday (Aron really want's to go further and be more certified/educated within freediving and the Apnea aproach) Have a fantastic xmas and a wonderful new year! And to all of you who reads this: We (the whole fam) absolutely recommend freediving classes at Apnea Total, or if your not there for more education than you have; just book a dive with them. Wow. incredible, inspiring instructors in the most beautiful spot in the world. Aven is my favorite - he’s so calm, patient and clearly wants all his students to succeed with safety as a number one. Cant recommend enough!
