Absolutely wonderful. We always come to them when we come to Koh Tao and we come quite often from Bangkok. Safe, professional and sustainable service with a real part of the family fun feeling while you are there. We also recommend all our friends to come here as well and they always have a great experience. Dev, Maria, Pi Ran, Wesley, Pod, and the team are a real pleasure to dive with. Thanks guys:-)

We had about 6 dives with New Heaven during the COVID outbreak and had an incredible time. The school dives 2 times a day, starting around 9am which makes the experience quite relaxed and enjoyable; you never feel that you are being pushed into the ocean to make several dives happen tightly. The staff was really friendly, flexible and professional, as well as deeply involved in the conservation of the marine environment in the island. The school offers multiple courses on marine conservation and had several initiatives going on while we were around. We had an individual diving instructor with us on all our fun dives, who took all the H&S precautions to make our dives safe during the pandemic. We will totally come back at another time, either for further fun dives or for some free diving!
New Heaven is much more than a dive school. Everyone of the people here are passionate and cares wholeheartedly in the protection of the ocean. Fun dives are determined on the day itself after considering weather conditions. They take meticulous care of the people diving with them and often go out in small groups so there are eyes on divers.
Great experience with New Heaven. Small dive groups and excellent dive masters (Joel and Kirsty). The do reef and ocean conservation too which is fantastic and much needed. Highly recommended.

The best place ever with the most wonderful people you will ever meet. I am 12 and they are so supporting and caring they felt like family and I would definitely go back there again for another diving course.
The British lady at the reception was super helpful and lovely. However, once on the boat, it seems it’s just like a group of friends wanting to chill and they clearly lack of knowledge/safety. First of all, don’t expect to dive in small groups as you will be 5 or 6 per diving instructor. The Thai instructor we had was probably still under influence from the last night and gave us a very little briefing about what to expect. He didn’t talk about possible dangers such as trigger fish/jelly fish etc... One Dive Master student surprised us when he decided to go up alone by himself after 3 minutes diving because the visibility was not too good enough for him. No reaction from the instructor, when in Europe if you do that, it’s a big NO to your DM certification. Second dive: our instructor could not use his compass properly so we went up at the wrong position. The 2nd Thai instructor cancelled the second dive because his computer didn’t work. Not really professional, perhaps they had too many beers at this time of the year... I would personally go for other options in Ko Tao with smaller diving groups.
New Heaven is one of the few dive schools heavily invested in protecting Koh Tao's marine environment. It's the only dive school closely tied in with important government/non-government bodies. I did a conservation internship for 3 months with them and subsequently, did my divemaster as well. It's a family owned dive school. Been on the island 10 years. Anything marine-related, all dive schools come to NH. Everyone greets each other by name. Small group always and relaxed dive schedule.
