Small airport, monopolized by bangkok airways. Open air style. Nicely and uniquely decorated, can already feel the island vibe from the moment you step in. Staffs are professional and well trained. Everything was handled efficiently. Bathroom is very nice and clean for airport standard.

A very small airport, having both domestic and international flights. Rental car to town starts at 500 Baht/round. Many rental car services are available at exit way.
It's all outside. A small airport, it can be suprisingly busy. However, it should be noted that only Bangkok Air has the right to maintain it's planes there...the airport is owned by the airline's parent company... This also makes it efficient and fairly well run. It's completely outside, so you might sweat waiting for your plane. It's close to Chawaeng Beach, so if you're staying at the big name joints, it's just a few minutes from the airport.
