Toasted bun which very crispy on outside and very soft inside. There are many choices on creamy sauce inside- range from thai classic sugar and condensed milk, sugar with butter, chocolate, pandan sauce, etc. Personally I recommend sugar with butter and sugar with milk, it’s might be quite creamy and too sweet but it’s worth a try.

Small pockets of buns, toasted over charcoal fire, filled with an assortment of the sweetest fillings. Lovely! If it's your first time here, just simply order on of everything. They have now adopted a very foreigner friendly checklist type slip of paper which you simply mark off your selection.

This is the authentic store that sells toasted sweet bun, those copycats elsewhere just cannot compare to the standard here. The bun is lightly toasted, is crispy at some part, eat it when is fresh. They are seriously generous with their filling, which created the oozing effect when one bit. I prefer their milk/butter n chocolate flavour, the jam filling are really sweet.

Something you cannot miss when you visit Chinatown. The crispy bun is well baked and with a smell like a little bit burnt which is perfect combination of a bun itself. The way they add stuffing make you feel guilty already but just can’t help to reach out and take bites. It’s indeed delicious and worth having even need to exchange for the next few hours on the treadmill.

The queue was long but manageable, took about 15mins before my turn. The buns were toasted but IMO not sufficiently toasted to have that crusty bite. There were plenty of spread options but nothing was significant by itself. I’ll recommend trying the butter sugar and the milk flavours. It’s a can try if u are someone with time to queue and like bread with sweet spread.
