One of most beautiful Subway building in Bangkok. Easy access to a lot of famous shopping town in Bangkok, Wangburabha,Pahurad and Pak Klong Talad, and walk from here 10 minutes you can go to Chaophraya Skypark.

Samyot MRT station is a great transit point which allows you to visit the old town market. From here, you can simply cross the street to visit the Old Siam Plaza which offers a wide variety of Thai traditional items such as souvenirs, snack, jewelry, accessories and gift. Then, a bit further away, you can also visit Pahurat (Little India) and Saphanhan market to enjoy the Sikh temple, the large fabric & clothing market, Thai traditonal items, snacks and a lot more. In addition, you can also visit Sala Chalermkrung theater to watch Khon or the traditional Thai mask dance performance (a must see for foreign visitors) which is only 5 minutes walk away. The markets are mostly open from 10am to 6pm so you can enjoy browsing and shopping as much as you like.

Amazing station recently opened in August 2019 which made attractions such as the Giant Swing, The Old Siam and Democracy Monument a lot more easily accessible. The employees are very friendly and helpful as well as the station itself, decorated like a vintage style building in Thailand’s historical area, is clean. Teenagers often come to hang out and take pictures for their instagram feed. To go to The Old Siam, take the exit 3. To go to the Giant Swing or the Democracy Monument, taking the tuk-tuk is a preferred travelling method. Very happy with my experience!
