Such a bad service restaurant! I’ve to wait outside for long time and no one come to receive order even they knew that there’re customers outside!!!! I’ve to call staff many times wouldn’t recommend to any friends for sure.

We had an amazing experience in this cozy japanese restaurant. Staff was extremely polite and humble, it was a bit hard to speak with them since they do not really speak english but they know basic stuff. There is always a translator! Sushi was amazing and especially tuna and outside salmon rolls! They got few drinks available that they will refill infinitely. Strange for such a place but why not. I really recommend a visit. Prices are very fair and reasonable, very good for such quality. Sending regards to the staff, thank you! :)

This is a super legit Japanese place right in Bangkok's old town! It's not far from Phra Arthit road and has spacious and modern interiors. The menu is extensive as well, food came quickly and tasted good... and upon a repeat visit we still have dishes we want to try next time. The desserts are also delicious! Also, I just love the Yakuza kitty mascot! Stylishhhh.

We checked out this place right beside our hostel and felt the need to fill a sushi craving! The rolls were delicious and would definitely recommend. We also got some Japanese curry tonkatsu and while it was good, for the price, it wasn’t life-changing. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was clean and chic.

This is a wonderful restaurant in the Banglumphu area of Bangkok near the Fort Phra Sumen. The service here is good, people welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant and easy on the eyes. The menu is varied and I have yet to receive a dish there that was not presented with care and a touch of class. As with most Japanese places I do find the prices a bit high for the area. You can certainly eat a great deal cheaper just across the street where a pad thai will cost you 50 baht. So realize when you enter that this is not presented as inexpensive Bangkok street food. There is a menu outside that you can check before entering. That being said the prices at Kaneki are comparable to prices at other Japanese restaurants in the area. The quality of the food here is very good. The dishes well prepared, the seafood fresh by any standards.
