Love this Natural park, cool breeze among hill and dam even in sunlight day time in summer. Very clean and good management of the park officer. Nice place for camping ever especially in winter.

Kaenng Krachan dam & National park is around 70klms from the center of Hua Hin. It's a great place for a day trip to explore the area or stay over night at one of the many resorts scattered near and around the dam. Also there is a very well maintained camp ground in the National park on the dam's edge. December / January is a good time to visit the area as the weather is a lot milder.You can take a boat trip around the dam, view some fantastic scenery around the National park and surrounding area especially up at the dam view point and don't forget to have great Thai meal at one the many local restaurants.

Nice stop good views. Boat ride is a Must. Beware the monkeys not only can swim they can fly!

Nice place to have camping. They are many cottages available. If anyone want to stay in tent, they can get one or the tents are also available at the main office.
