Jam a truly unique Bangkok venue. It's a great place to catch some interesting music and meet some interesting characters. Highly recommended if you're looking to discover the underground music and art scene in Bangkok.

THAILAND LIFESTYLE

Obviously Jam is just a shadow of what it used to be and might be again. Under the Corona Lockdown nothing much is happening here. We just walked in and decided to stay for a coffee only. The coffe was good the service very friendly. We might return on better days.

STILL THE BEST BAR IN TOWN!! Got some new hours, 11am-2pm, 5pm-8pm Tues-Thurs Friday and Saturdays 6pm-midnight Closed Sunday/Monday Coolest Bar in Town. This is my favorite bar to go to in the whole city!! Always a unique mix of people at this place. I think there's a hostel nearby or something. Everytime I go there, I meet people from all over the world it seems like and everyone is friendly and up for a chat. Fascinating to hear so many different views and perspectives in drunken context. It's always a good time!! I always get Super SUPER DRUNK HERE!!!! I don't think I have ever not had to carry my wife out!!! The whole bar is covered in stickers and strange statues, heads, mannequins, etc.... You could spend hours just reading the walls and bar counteetop. They have 100 baht beers and the owner always keeps different acts coming through. They have movie night and do a bunch in the way of short films, 8 bit street fighter night. YEAH, you'd have to check it out to understand, but it's pretty cool. Everybody should hit this place for a peek into the Bangkok Underground. Staff is cool and friendly. I think they serve up some burgers and bar food as well. The burger looked damn good, it's too bad I'm on a liquid diet!!! CHECK IT OUT!!! IT'S WILD MAN WILD!!!

Jam is a great small bar to have a few drinks (or more). The fish and chips is very good as well. The owners are very cool and friendly. This bar hosts lots of different live performance events from poetry readings and karaoke to live bands. Reminds me of some of the authentic come-as-you-are bars from back home (i.e. substance trumps pretense any day of the week). One of the highlights for me during my time in Bangkok.
