It was so nice to have someone arrange all my transportation needs without additional charges: one of the owners picked me up at the airport and later arranged a mini-van to come directly to their hotel to bring me to Khao Sok. They made sure I got the room of my choice and carried my luggage up the three flights. Their bar is well stocked and they will allow you to mix your own drink or pour it for you and join you. For breakfast, they adapted their typical menu without any problems. It was nice to have a refrigerator in the room, too. This is not near anything other than fields but if you want something conveniently located on the highway (without being too noisy!) and in between the airport and the town of Surat and want to support a lovely family (who speaks good English!), then this is the place for you.

Warning for guests of this hotel or other thinking to eat here - be careful. We were staying at another guesthouse nearby. There are only a couple of places to eat in the complex and we recommend Baan URT Hotel. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of going to Inn Khun House for dinner. We were treated sooo badly and given terrible food which we asked him to fix and he refused so we said we wouldn't pay for two of the meals which were inedible. He harassed us and even called the police. FYI if this ever happens to you - call the tourist police on 1155 to make sure that you are not scammed or taken advantage of.
