I love this restaurant so much! Come here every time I go to Chiangmai. It’s street food in cozy and hip atmosphere beside the road. Please do not compare price, style or taste with Bangkok! Its food is delicious in its own style. I love the way he marinated in American herbs. It made me feel like upcountry USA. Price is reasonable and affordable. Don’t miss rib eye steak, tomahawk, lamb rack and signature dish - pork rib. Please call for booking before going!!!
Reservation is a must. Two cycles 1800 and 2000. Great food , great service... absolute value for money. Reccomended. Use \Grab\ for transportation.
Delicious food, nice outdoor setting (although beware there are mozzies, a main road a few feet away and its very basic), price isnt too bad and good value.
Atmosphere is perfect for coming with friends and family, though it's not as spacious as I would've liked. Overall, the food was a let down. Pork rib is beautifully tender but a tad dry. It is also packed full of dried rosemary making it taste bitter and quite grainy in the mouth. There was no barbecue sauce either. Tomahawk was a HUGE disappointment. What promised to be a Tajima Wagyu from Australia turned out to be a freezer burnt piece of under-seasoned meat. Not worth the price it's called for. Salmon steak was as you'd expect, pretty good. It was cooked well-done which was perfect for most people in my family. Lamb rack was average. Again, under-seasoned and with white, undercooked fat. Chicken wings are dry, but the tendon was still tough and undercooked. It's not that pleasant to eat. This is not to say that Hoppipolla isn't worth a visit. But just don't expect too much flavour-wise from this place. We ended up with price tag of about 800 baht/person so judge that for yourself.
