Mu Ko Phi Phi is group of 6 islands consisting of in Koh Bida Nok, Koh Bida Nai, Koh Phi Phi Leh, Koh Phi Phi Don, Bamboo and Mosquito. Collectively the Islands are the Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park and administered by the Park. We did spend some time Koh Phi Phi Don, it is the only inhabited Island and has hotels, restaurants, bars etc, it is totally pedestrian. It has a reputation as the Party island. We did sail around Phi Phi Leh, where Maya Bay is located, some of the film, The Beach, was filmed here. It was only a photo opportunity on the Tour, as the National Park has closed the beach, to tourists, to assist ecological regeneration. Monkey Beach was also closed, however, we saw monkeys around the coast in Monkey Bay. Viking Cave, on the Island, was also closed to be protected, still wonderful scenery. A trip around the Islands is an opportunity to see some extraordinary scenery and are superb locations for diving and snorkeling.
