The German-Southeast Asian Center of Excellence for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPG) is a common institute of Thammasat University Bangkok and Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main, Westfälische Wilhelms-University Münster, and Passau University in Germany. Funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), our research and works focus on public law and its role in facilitating good governance. As an academic institution and think tank, our cooperation among academia, regional and local governmental and law enforcement agencies in both Europe and ASEAN countries ensured our role as an active participant in international and national legal and public policy dialogue and policymaking process. It is our mission to pursue a comparative perspective of transfer of ideas and knowledge between Europe and Southeast Asia.
