Cannot believe this place is still here - at least they are on google now. Rented a bike four years ago at this place with a friend. We both had minor scratches at one or two parts due to sliding and letting the bike fall on sand (!) by our bungalow at the beach on start up (!). He wanted like 14,000 and 12,000 Baht from us for the scratches. Otherwise he would keep our passports. We reported him to the police. But they couldn’t do anything. We negotiated. It was impossible. Left for Koh Tao. Came back like 5 days later and negotiated again. At the end we paid like 15,000 Baht to him in return for our passports. Please do not rent from this place for your own sake and the one of this beautiful island. It’s horrible to support businesses like these making profit from you in this way and making the island a horrible experience for a lot of people. I also noted that he does not call himself Freedom Travel anymore. Be aware!! It’s right at the corner of the street having his store to one side and 7/11 to the other one.

The young guy who works there is very nice and helpful, but the owner is a scam artist. He will try to charge you for scratches that are literally nothing. Don’t go here.

Back in 2016 we rented two bikes at this place. I had few little scratches on mine bike. My friends bike had an issue with the hinge of the seat. It can allways happen that a bike falls over while it is parked and the dealer told us up front that he doesn't charge for scratches. However when we wanted to return the bikes the owner told us, that the \damages\ will costs us 14.000 TBH in total. When we tried to negotiate the dealer and his coworker got really aggressive. So we left and asked at a workshop how mucho the replacement of the parts will be. At the workshop we were told about 3.000 THB. And for sure that was a price for tourists. Eaven the police told us not to pay and forget about our passports. However we paid about 6.000 THB in the end and so to say got 100% scammed.

Got the scooter for 200, another 200 for insurance and returned it after a quick check by him without any problems! Just be nice and joke a little, than there won't be any problems.

Ran by two young guys. They gave us a good deal on a very new Honda click (600B for 3 days during high season). We were skeptical after reading the other reviews but we made sure to take a lot of photos of the bike and made sure every scratch was accounted for. If you do scratch the bike and they realize then I think you will be paying a lot
