If there is a different choice go for it. Operators were rude - specifically the one in Koh Chang. I could write more but to sum it up - go for a different bus line.

Absolutely terrible serivice, operators are slow and rude. When you purchase a round trip ticket they give you two slip: a large one and one that’s the size of a stamp. They expect you to keep up with the both of them, which is stupid because the one already states that you purchased a round trip ticket. If don’t have the ticket they’ll charge you again, which again makes no sense because you’ll have a ticket reference number that they’ll ask you for... why have a reference number if they don’t use it as a reference to verify ticket sales? Go with VIP or any other bus service system because that is just ridiculous. Honestly, most of the bus companies you’ll come across in Thailand have terrible operating systems and only carry out the facade of having any types of regulation so when you don’t have a ticket, you look crazy. If you’re going to run on a paper system then run on a paper system. Write down reference numbers so you won’t forgot... why try to remember it?

Untrustworthy, I had return ticket, but they asked 100 baht extra. If we didn't pay the bus would not ride and everyone missed their plane ticket... Locals told me taxi and bus in Koh Chang is in hands of maffia. Next time I just fly to Bali or Ibiza instead... You can just take the official Thai busses called 999. They will not try to rip you off

We took the 8am transfer service from Bangkok airport to Koh Chang. Everything was ok. The only thing I have to say is the following: we arrived to the pier at 1am and had to wait 45m for the ferry. So we ended up arriving to Koh Chang at 3pm which was the estimated arrival time but being at the pier at 1pm made me think we would arrive earlier.

The worst bus ride in my life. We had a small 20 seater bus from Bangkok airport to Koh Chang. The suspension was completely damaged or broken so it was a terrible painful 5 hours ride to the ferry where they just dropped us off. We had to carry our staff to the ferry and later to the second van on the Koh Chang. They also asked additonal 50 thb per person to take us to our resort on Kai Bae beach. That was not the original plan. The staff is very far from kind both over the phone and at the airport desk. No online booking.
