The best 30 mins trek and climb in years.. will definitely come again. Private too as there was no one. Love it

A wonderful place, if the tide is high you can have a nice swimming. It is safe on the lagoon, however the way to get there can be risky and dangerous, because of high rocks. Climbing up and down the hill, pass by the Railay View Point. Use right footware, no sandals!
Definitely worth it... if you survive the climb to the lagoon. It's only about 150m, but those are not to be underestimated. There are 3 climbs down on basically vertical cliffs of about 4 meters height with only a rope to hold on to; and the rocks themselves, of course. There are many natural, easy to grab holds, but everything is wet and slippy because it is a canyon through which the rain water drains from the mountains into the lagoon. I have not much climbing experience myself but made it down somewhat easily, though I will admit that it is not without dangers. When you enter the lagoon it's a breathtaking view. Often you are alone because people won't attempt the climb to get there. If you go into the water you may at times feel like you are stung by a lot of tiny spikes. This is apparently because of some micro jellyfish which you cannot see. The feeling will wear off, however, after you leave the water or later the same day. When you are down there don't miss the cave on the opposite site to the entrance! And don't forget that you have to also climb up again, too :D (but it's definitely much easier than down!)
Absolutely beautiful. You need to time it with the tide. Its a bit of slow slog up then down but completely worth it
This was a trek and kinda dangerous but definitely worth it
