Really nice small sanctuary. The small size made the visit more personal as there were only three other people, which is how I think it should be. The staff gave us traditional Karen tribe shirts to wear and a bag of banana to feed the elephants. They love bananas, especially the baby! There was also a very tasty lunch. Most importantly the elephants are treated well! They have plenty of food and a clean river for bathing. The staff spoke good English, were knowledgeable, and really cared for the elephants. Would definitely visit again! (There seem to be two places with this name on Google. One I assume is their office and the other is the actual sanctuary. Because of this I have the same review twice)

Awesome elephant sanctuary! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The guide was brilliant. Was very intimate tour and got to spend time with all the elephants.

We booked a half day via travel smile by Nina for 1600 bath each and were lucky to have no other people or groups. A minivan picked us up at our hotel and drove about 1.5h to the place high in the mountains. The driver was carefull and we had some nice views of the area. Once arrived we spent some time feeding the elephants, petting them and walked with them in such a beautiful location. We were asked to join bathing the elephants but didn't participate as we were scared for infections from the river, but it was nice to see them enjoy a bath. Once bathing was finished, we received lunch which was quiet good. After the meal we left the elephants and drove back tot Chiang Mai. We really liked the experience but were well aware this is also very commercial. The animals seem to be in good care, much better as before.

The best experience of my life so far...we did the half day tour and it worth it, a lot. All starts when they pick you up in your hotel in Chiang Mai, it’s like 2,5-3 hours driving because it’s in the mountains I would say. When you arrive they give you traditional clothes which is good so you don’t get your own clothes dirty. After that you feed the elephants for like almost 1 hour and go for a walk with them after. When you finish the walk it’s time for the bath... yes, you swim with them in the river and it was so far the best experience of my life (you better bring spare clothes and swimwear). After the bath (30-40 minutes) it’s lunch time, lunch is included in the tour and it’s really nice, rice, chicken, massam curry and lots of fruit and water (you can buy beer if you want). You have plenty of time to be with the elephants and can take all the photos that you want. I would love to come back

My day there was an experience that I will never forget. Friendly staff and sweet Elephants that are seemingly well taken care of. Only thing that would put me off going again is the bus ride.

My partner and I really enjoyed this tour. They appear to be humane and care for the elephants. There is no riding the elephants. You mainly feed them and pet them. Lunch was tasty. Would recommend in future to friends.

It was a great day with these amazing animals. We were feeding them and went through the jungle with them. The highlight was having a bath with the elefants. We had great fun. At the end we had a tasty lunch. We also had great fun fun with the stuff. The mahuts take care very well of their elefants. Thank you for such a great day!

Awesome experience i'd kindly recommend to everyone looking for an animalfriendly Trip. We really got the feeling that the elephants got treated really well and according to their needs. After beeing picked Up at our hostel in Chiang Mai IT was a two hour Drive to the sanctuary , near the National Park. At first we had a meet n greet with the elephants , then a small Trekking Tour, followed by a decent meal in Buffet form. We rested for Approximatly one hour eventho we we're allowed to spend all our time with the animals. After that we had a mudbath with the elephants, of course we had to clean them later in the River which was an trully outstanding experience. Lucky for us that we were only 2 visitors playing with 4 elephants. We took a shower and and following another Snack we got to visit a newborn elephant (6days at this time and his mother). Overall you'll really get the feeling that the people there care about the wellbeing of their elephants and the animals can live in their natural habitat, Not getting forced to carry someone or do harmful tricks. Again, big recommendation. Thanks to the whole Team for an awesome day
