Unforgettable experience with those gentle giants. Non is a very dedicated person, he knows everything about elephants and will explain everything you wanna know if you decide to plan a trip in the camp. I really enjoyed it, we followed those big creatures down a small path to a little river where we could play with them and wash them. This is such a beautiful thing where nature and humans come together and learn more about it. Can't recommend this camp enough! If you decide so you will have a wonderful memory all of your life ️ And Camille who is the business partner of non is also a very lovely person, you just feel that she loves animals with all of her heart

We did the 2-days trip to the elephant camp and had an amazing time! Elephant freedom village is an independent sanctuary where you can really see that the owner Non has a deep connections to his elephants. He explained us the difference of wild and domesticated elephants and we could see how free and easy all of them live. We went to a waterfall with 3 of the elephants and could observe them in their natural habit. However it was more like we followed them then they followed us All in all it was a wonderful experience and I can recommend it to anyone, especially those who are sceptical abou elephant camps to convince themselves. The experience here is much more intimate then the bigger well-known elephant camps.
Best elephant camp in Chiang Mai. The owner really loves his animals since he has been growning with them. Good atmosphere, amazing landscape, well treated elephants, ... Welcome to paradise!
I spent a full day at the Elephant Freedom Village, and it was absolutely amazing! I learned so much and got to really interact with the elephants, from feeding them to walking with them and bathing them in a waterfall to holding a sleeping baby elephant in my lap! Everything was included from transportation to meals and even clothes to wear. I feel like these elephants are truly loved and cared for like family! I would highly recommend a visit here!
Elephant Freedom Village is a small independent elephant sanctuary. I had the experience of a life time interacting with the elephant and their caretakers. I spent a whole day with elephants feeding, washing and bonding. The elephants here are all very happy. There were a few baby ones that definitely were more playful. Consider going here instead of the more well-known bigger camps for a more personalized and intimate experience.
Amazing time with the elephants family, it's always such a special moment to be able to see them, approach them and understand them more closely. Beautiful place surrounded by the nature around and amazing people taking care of them and sharing their precious knowledge with visitors. It was a great time into the wildlife
One of the best experience of my life. Visited with my mom, we had a wonderful experience. The mature elephants are well trained and friendly with people, but the young ones are the cutest and most playful. We played with Mina (the youngest), took the elephants hiking and even went for a swim with them. Would rate even 6 stars. Thanks again Carmelle & Non for the fantastic experience and care!
Wow. truly amazing experience. I've been to other camps and aspects that differentiated this camp compared to others is the quality and authentic experience I had with this local culture. The elephants roam free and interacting with the elephants and the local people were something truly special and I embraced completely: I was in awe in how I was able to interact and be so close to them. The elephants were in a very happy place. I could tell because of they way they were excited and were so calm, the amount of free space the elephants were allowed to roam was vast and I am truly blessed to have been part of this experience. There are a lot of sanctuaries that don't care for the elephants and treated them like they were from the circus and/or using them as commodities; however, this special place had the owners taking care of them constantly. i was also told that many of the elephants from the other elephant camps were "rented" like property, but not this one. The local "Karen" people live among them. Highly recommended place if someone is seeking the happy, natural and stimulating environment attached with the local hilltribe(Karen) people. This special place raised my awareness of the issues of other camps and I will come back again when I get the chance )
