Avoid this lady when going to Koh Samet. There aren’t many providers going to Samet, there is a bus provider near the front entrance and there is this lady near the back row or providers (van service instead of bus) Was told 10 minute wait, going soon. We have literally been here almost an hour waiting. Last time we asked where the van was she said it’s at the ekkamai intersection making a u turn to come in. That was 15 minutes ago. This lady is a liar, don’t waste your time and money with her, there is no refund. I don’t know how often they change their parking spots, but we were told to wait at 15. (Dec 2020) Avoid at all cost unless you want to spend over an hour waiting and unable to change services.

Basic bus terminal. 7-11 one minute away. Toilets for 3 baht. Lots of minivans and big blue buses, make sure you specify big bus if that's what you want as the signage only says the destinations not the type of vehicle.

Good long distance bus station. Mostly for trips south of Thailand: Pattayah, Rayong, Hua Hin. Well organized. Check buses times. You can buy in advance. I travelled by the company \Krua khunpa\, to Rayong. Good service

I absolutely love Thailand, from the bottom of my heart, but damn, sometimes I wish I could have an Asian face so I could avoid the hundred thousands of aggressive people trying to sell you tickets to destinations you don't even want to go. The vans are in okay conditions and the prices to the main destinations are very very affordable (120THB to Pataya - 200THB to peer to Koh Samet)
