I was not a patient of Dr. Smile - I was the friend of a patient helping him get his orthodontic treatment started. We went in together to find out the pricing and plan as we compared with other providers in Pattaya. We chose Dr. Smile based on price and recommendations from other patients we knew. I was disappointed after treatment started that the office staff I met with was unable to provide me a written plan, pricing, and payment schedule. After a few attempts and some emails back and forth months after the start of treatment I am now clear. Apparently because orthodontic treatment is almost exclusively provided to Thai patients they do not provide this information in writing as these patients prefer to receive information orally. I was assured that for western/foreign patients they provide all this information (pricing, plan) in writing and payment is almost always done at time of service and not on a plan as treatment is not months or years long. Also, as the non patient I think that they did a good job working with me to help me understand. My friend, the patient, is pleased with the service.
